With graduates from all over the US, Canada, and Europe, we are the leading school for both initial and post-graduate training of Feldenkrais Practitioners and conduct regular Feldenkrais workshops for professionals, and the public. We hold ongoing Feldenkrais Method Training Programs on the east coast at The Feldenkrais Institute of NY (in Manhattan) and in Baltimore/Washington, D.C. We also have ongoing programs in Berkeley, California and are planning a program in the Philadelphia area. Enrollment is open to anyone seeking the satisfaction of profound personal and professional growth, regardless of age or physical ability.
Our co-sponsor organization, Feldenkrais Resources, is the major publisher of Dr. Moshé Feldenkrais’ audio, video and written works, as well as materials by leading Feldenkrais Teachers.
David Zemach-Bersin, the Educational Director and primary teacher in each of the east coast programs, is one of Dr. Moshé Feldenkrais’ original and closest American students. David has devoted the past 30 years to studying, practicing and teaching the Feldenkrais Method and has been the Educational Director of many highly regarded Feldenkrais Professional Training Programs.
Our programs meet 40 days per year over a period of 3 1/2 years, for a total of 160 days. Upon completion of the program you will be eligible to join a highly regarded, international, and growing cross-disciplinary profession. In the following pages we will introduce you to the training program curriculum and explain the application process.
